The area is famous for the world class game farms, conservancies, and hunting lodges.

This 5581-ha game farm, owned by the Wiese family, had its humble beginnings in the 1990 ’s during previous ownership the farm was unitized as a Cattle, sheep, and goat farm with free ranging Kudus.

Mr Wiese bought the two farms adjacent to each other in 2000 and erected a 2.4m game fence around the perimeter to obtain a Game Breeders License, enabling year-round hunting.

The farm consists of two diagrams, with the housing only on the one side of the farm.
In addition to the local game such as Kudu, Gemsbuck, Springbuck and Wildebeest, the farms were then stocked with game from the best breeders in South Africa. Mr Wiese has developed a once in a lifetime farm for easy game breeding or cattle rotation feeding camps with the 29 livestock camps that are available will ensure that you can farm successfully with livestock and game. Camps range from 10ha x 4 with most of the camps ranging between 120 -180ha and two larger camps of 428ha & 274ha on the Plato. All the inner fences are also 2.4m.

Over the past 19 years the Farm has become part of a vibrant hunting community with well-established connections within the industry. This enables the lodge to offer services, day trips and game species available on other nearby farms to ensure a complete hunting experience. Majestic farmhouse Built in 1872 and survived the ‘scorched earth’ policy of the English during the Boer War. This 5 bedr house can easily sleep up to 16 people. There is also a modern 3-bedroom managers house that was built recently. The lodge has a nice eco swimming pool, pool room, Rustic Lapa, Slaughter & Taxidermy facilities.

This farm is the ideal hunting farm and can easily be converted into a Hunting & Cattle farm with irrigation fields (soil tests was done and is available on request).
With more than enough water on the farm and an area of approx.25 - 45ha that can be utilized as irrigation fields the possibilities are endless. Over 100 000l/h available on the farm with a natural fountain that has since new ownership never run dry. The truly magical part of the farm is to experience the fountain on the ridge, were in the 1870's the owner spend years to find water on the farm.
