Kid-friendly Easter Celebrations
With Easter weekend right around the corner, there are various ways it can be celebrated – with some especially kid-friendly options.
Rhebokskloof is hosting their annual Easter Weekend activities. From 2 – 5 April from 10am – 2pm daily, enjoy Rhebokskloof’s open spaces with a picnic or a lunch from their restaurant. For the kids there is balloon art, a bunny treasure hunt and a petting zoo. Tickets cost R100 per child and can be booked here.
Spier is also hosting a kid easter workshop (2 – 5 April), where they can create bunny ears and an Easter egg basket. The workshop is 1 hour long, starting at 9.30 am and takes place outside – close to the River House. Book your ticket now at R100.
Join others for the first Toyota Woordfees Artist Week, from 6 – 11 April in the streets of Stellenbosch. Under the mentorship of 8 facilitators, 70 top artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills through a series of workshops. The outcome will be short pop-up performances in unconventional spaces in Stellenbosch.
The programme will be as follows:

Saturday, 10 April, 18:00 – 22:30: A wide variety of short performances (5-15 minutes each). The evening will end with a festive organ recital in the Moederkerk.
The performances are free, but Covid restrictions will apply.
